CATRION Catering Holding Co. signed, on July 4, 2024, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mallaghan Engineering Ltd in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in order to purchase 85 high loaders dedicated to inflight catering services, for a period of four years (2024 to 2027), according to a statement to Tadawul.
This MOU also constitutes a crucial investment step aimed at strengthening CATRION's operating capacity and achieving its future objectives in the aviation sector in line with Vision 2030. The company aims to expand fleet to 205 high loaders by 2027, while Saudi Arabia seeks to increase passenger numbers to 330 million passengers per year by 2030.
The MoU has no related parties, and it is difficult to determine the related financial impact at present, the statement added.
