Careem partners with RedBox to deliver packages in Saudi Arabia

Careem, the region's leading multi-service app, partners with RedBox, the largest parcel locker network in the MENA region, to offer a first-of-its-kind scheduled home delivery service for customers in Jeddah and Riyadh. 

Customers can now have their parcels delivered to a location of their choice during a specific time window within one hour by Careem Express, the logistics arm of Careem. It’s the first service to deliver packages from lockers to homes within one hour in Saudi Arabia and will enhance package delivery for customers in the Kingdom. RedBox has a wide network of smart parcel lockers in more than 50 cities in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership was signed at a ceremony between Dr Thamer Altuwaiyan, CEO of RedBox, and Amer Fakieh, Senior Commercial Manager at Careem, at RedBox's offices in Riyadh.

Today, more than 15,000 daily orders are delivered by Careem Express for businesses in Saudi Arabia.

The Careem Everything App offers multiple digital services in Saudi Arabia, including ride-hailing, car sharing, food delivery and home cleaning, serving over 10 million customers  in the Kingdom. More than 70,000 Saudi nationals use the Careem app to access flexible economic opportunities every month.
