Canon introduces ‘Explore, Inspire, Improve’ concept in Jordan

Canon Middle East has unveiled its new concept of ‘Explore, Inspire, Improve’ as part of the ‘Canon for Business’ offering in Jordan. The initiative supports businesses in Jordan to strengthen productivity, efficiency and sustainable development, and underline Canon’s position as a ‘Partner of Choice’ for customers. The event which was held in Jordan was attended by Ayman Hazza’ Al-Majali, former Deputy Prime Minister of Jordan.

 

The event is also part of a series of ‘Canon for Business’ events in the Middle East, and a part of Canon’s strategy of working closely with its customers.

 

Canon is exploring the changing world of business and data, and is helping customers to address their challenges and improve their business. ‘Explore, Inspire, Improve’ provides business process consultancy, with Canon working alongside its customers to build the best solution for their organisation based on business priorities.

Through our local partnerships with Emdad and United Electronics, we aim to contribute to the economic development of the industry, and progress by supporting local businesses and other entities underlining our emphasis on creating niche markets and global value chains. We are also committed to the local market as it moves towards digitisation as per the Jordanian’s government’s 2018-2022 Economic Growth Plan that aims to realise Jordan’s potential in the region,” said Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East.

 

“In line with our corporate philosophy of ‘Kyosei’, our strategy has always been to drive sustainable growth and strengthen our core business by being a partner that helps solve the challenges of our customers,” Agrawal added.

 

United Electronics is one of the oldest and an important partner of Canon in Jordan. The partnership over the years has successfully delivered a wide range of printing, imaging, and archiving, products and solutions for consumers, business enterprises, and government agencies. In 2012, United Electronics launched the professional print solutions product line from Canon serving the emerging and growing demand in digital production printing.

 

Supported by Canon’s long terms vision United Electronics now covers 70% of the Jordan’s market in all sectors & product range. United Electronic was the first in Jordan to introduce the radiology printing in hospitals & medical forms in insurance companies, this was by using Canon Solution.

 

Since 2011, Emdad has been a leading supplier for printing materials and machines in Jordan with a market share of around 20 per cent in the digital sector. Emdad’s strategy has been to obtain the highest market share to supply best quality machines and materials from international brands, grant reasonable competitive price in the market and ensure professional after sales service.

 

Canon, through its partnership with Emdad, will continue to focus on product sales mix consisting of indoor outdoor digital printing machines, commercial production digital machines, Cad machines, ink, consumables and spare parts.

At the event in Amman, Canon highlighted its B2B strategy and showcased an innovative range of products that cater to sectors including healthcare, hospitality, construction, education and government.

 

Canon recently commissioned a report titled ‘Office Insights’ to understand how businesses handle documents. The report revealed that 70 per cent of respondents believe printing and copying documents are essential or very important.
