Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, is showcasing the opportunities that print can unlock in the creative industries at FESPA Digital 2016 (Hall 1, Stands F100-F120) in Amsterdam (March 8-11).
At its on-site design studio, Canon will take visitors on a journey from the first design right up to the final printed media. Demonstrations will show the imaginative and artistic capabilities delivered by Canon’s wide format portfolio, including the first European viewing of two new versatile flatbed printers - the Océ Arizona 1280 XT and Océ Arizona 1280 GT. Canon will also unveil a new series of wide format printers that will offer ground-breaking input-to-output technology.
Moreover, Canon will show how experimenting with new applications can unlock opportunities in the market with new high-margin product lines or by making a greater impact with marketing communications. At the same time, customer testimonials will highlight the full-service partnership Canon provides, including strategic consultancy, training and guidance, and ongoing support that help businesses achieve creative designs and future growth plans.
Canon will also demonstrate its market leading 3D printing proposition at FESPA. Customers within the creative, architectural and manufacturing industries will be able to see how wide format and 3D printing solutions can work hand in hand to deliver the ultimate in colour prints and prototypes to support the proposal and short-run manufacturing phases. The robust 3D print technology is supported end-to-end by Canon’s extensive expertise in service and support.
Industry experts from across the creative, education and manufacturing sectors will also be available to explain how strategic business goals have been supported and businesses have grown through strong partnerships and the power of print. Specialists include:
· Clive Booth - a photographer, designer and film maker with experience of a broad range of photography from fashion to portrait
· Dag Myrestrand - CEO, Bitmap, Norway - - photographic, film making and creative print service business
· Gary Dixon, Lintec Graphic Films / Vitrographic – an international manufacturer of advanced printable PVC-free film, used for specialist industrial applications onto glass including innovative products used for corporate interiors, architectural design and retail environments

“This is one of the most exhilarating times to be involved with print,” says Mathew Faulkner, European Marketing Manager, Wide Format Printing Group, Canon Europe. “We are focused on supporting PSPs in being more creative, more ambitious and more innovative in both the way they work and the products they can offer to customers. This year at FESPA, we want to show PSPs that creativity is not limited by print, in fact, the ability to print onto virtually any type of material is a real opportunity for them to grow and develop their business. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and helping businesses seize new ideas and growth opportunities. ”
