C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. (“C.H. Robinson”) (NASDAQ: CHRW), one of the world’s largest logistics companies, announced today that Jeroen Eijsink has joined the company as President of C.H. Robinson Europe, B.V. Eijsink will report to President and Chief Executive Officer John Wiehoff.

Robinson,” said Wiehoff. “Europe is a critical part of our global growth strategy and a competitive differentiator for the company. Our business in the region is well positioned with a strong leadership team in place.”
Since 1993, C.H. Robinson has offered road transport and freight forwarding services via a dynamic network of offices throughout Europe. Over the past three years, the company has accelerated growth in the European region by adding 18 offices, for a total of 52, and doubled headcount to over 1,000 customer-focused employees.

Previously Eijsink served as CEO of DHL Freight Germany where he was responsible for the road and rail transport activities for DHL in Germany. Eijsink also served as CEO of DHL Freight Benelux and United Kingdom. Prior to joining Deutsche Post DHL, Eijsink held various management positions at Siemens in Germany.
