IL BARETTO RIYADH BRINGS THE SPIRIT OF ITALY TO SAUDI WITH NEW FESTIVE WEEKEND LUNCH

Bringing the conviviality of Italy’s vibrant piazzas to Saudi Arabia, Il Baretto Riyadh is launching a new weekend lunch complete with sumptuous Italian cuisine and live music. Available from Friday, 24th May, the new weekend affair will take over the KAFD restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, encouraging feasting, frivolity, and the Italian ‘dolce vita’.

Paying homage to the seasonality of Italy’s cuisine and its rich culinary traditions, a special set menu will be available each weekend, curated by Il Baretto’s Executive Chef Alex Simone. Guests can savour three dishes for SAR195 from a menu spanning pizza, antipasti, salads, pasta, ‘secondi’ and sumptuous Italian desserts. Focusing on seasonal ingredients and regional produce and championing chef Simone’s passion for fresh flavours, dishes include the indulgent Four Cheese Pizza, Eggplant Parmigiana, Beef Tartare and Smoked Salmon and Fennel Salad. Il Baretto’s signature, fresh homemade pasta also features, such as Gnocci Alla Sorrento - served in a fresh tomato sauce with basil, parmesan and mozzarella - and Lasagna alongside a fragrant Saffron Risotto. 

Perfect for an indulging weekend, mains include the Weekly Roast – a roast to the day with grilled vegetables, Orata Alla Griglia - grilled whole sea bream - and an innovative Melanzana Alla Milanese – a vegan take on the classic. A dessert of the day is also on offer to end the occasion on a sweet note. Il Baretto’s signature a la carte offering is also available alongside the special set menu, offering cuisine from Italy’s diverse regions: from the fresh, seafood-centred flavours of the south to the rich, hearty flavours of the north. 

Providing another level of conviviality, a live band keeps guests entertained, encouraging a festive atmosphere that truly embraces the Italian way of life in the Saudi capital.
