Bahri honoured with three awards at Lloyd’s List Awards 2017 and MEED Awards 2017

Celebrating the addition of three more accolades to its awards showcase, Bahri, a global leader in transportation and logistics, has won the Ship Operator Award and The Lloyd’s List Intelligence Innovation Award at the Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East & Africa Awards 2017, as well as the Transport Company of the Year Award at MEED Awards 2017.

 

Abdulkarim Al-Abdulkarim, Senior Chartering Manager, Bahri Oil, and Almohaned Alshathre, Bahri’s PR Manager, accepted the awards on behalf of Bahri. The 2017 Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East & Africa awards ceremony was held at the Palazzo Versace Dubai, while MEED Awards 2017 were held at Conrad Dubai, both in the presence of industry stalwarts, high-profile executives, and maritime sector leaders.

Bahri, which offers a full suite of transportation and logistics services through its six business units, namely Bahri Oil, Bahri Logistics, Bahri Chemicals, Bahri Dry Bulk, Bahri Ship Management, and Bahri Data, has reached several milestones over the past year including five additions to its strong fleet of Very Large Crude-oil Carriers (VLCCs). The conglomerate currently owns and manages operates 88 multipurpose vessels, including 41 VLCCs, 36 chemical and product tankers, 6 multipurpose vessels, and 5 dry- bulk carriers.
