Supercasa, a globally renowned properties developer, has announced the signature of a lead consultancy services agreement with Archea Architecture and Design Consultants for its five stars hotel and resort project in Ras al Khaimah. The signature ceremony has taken place recently between both companies.
“Al Marjan Island (AMI) is the first man-made island in Ras Al Khaimah’s, and the hotel is our debut project in the UAE. We are proud to contribute to the new urbanism movement in the Emirate. We create iconic buildings that combine functionality, security, design, luxury and sustainability. This is our signature and the print we leave in the cities where we operate,” commented Abdallah Al Houti, Founder and Managing Partner at Supercasa.
The design phase will end by mid-2017 and construction will be completed by mid-2019, and will be situated at the centre of an ample inner harbour that commands spectacular waterfront views and open sandy beaches.
The new resort will propose 320 beach-facing rooms in the categories of standard, premium quality and deluxe, with exceptional waterfront views and will be operated by one of the most renowned hotel operator globally. The guests will also enjoy pleasant and diverse dining experiences in 2 fine dining restaurants and 2 casual restaurants that the hotel provides. Other amenities include a pool, a world class experiential Spa and Fitness Centre.

Supercasa is working on other mixed-use development projects in Ras Al Khaimah for a total built-up area of more than 15 million square feet.
Ras Al Khaimah has an ambitious goal in term of tourism; the 2018 vision of the emirate targets one million visitors by the end of 2018 and encourages growth and diversification across the accommodation portfolio and the tourism offerings for both business and leisure travellers.
