Apla enters the UAE blockchain market with solutions for government and enterprises

Apla, a dedicated technology company that uses blockchain to help organizations work faster, safer and with greater impact took part at the first edition  of Future Blockchain Summit that kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 2-3rdof May 2018, officially hosted by Dubai Smart Government.

The recently launched 2021 UAE Blockchain Strategyby Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai lays out a plan for the UAE to become a world leader in the adoption of blockchain technology. The strategy was outlined with the aim for 50% of government transactions on the federal level to be conducted using blockchain technology by 2021 and Apla has solutions suited to this.

The Future Blockchain Summit brings together innovators, business leaders and regulators who will play a significant role in contributing to UAE’s overall blockchain strategy. During the two-day summit, more than 1,500 people will hear from over 60 speakers specializing in all areas of the blockchain ecosystem.

At the summit, Apla also presented its blockchain implementations in the UAE governments on the first day of the expo and covered topics including blockchain for government services, Apla’s solution for financial services, smart contracts and laws, master data management as well as digital identity and data security. Apla also has a unique capability for rapid application development, which allows to develop applications in record time. It has created and patented an original “Smart Laws” System, which is a layer above the typical Smart Contracts System.    

The senior management at Apla will also participate in a panel discussion that will kick off on the second day of the summit and will address the adoption of de-central technologies as well as blockchain and digital twins for the 4thindustrial revolution.

With more than 70 employees in offices across Dubai, Luxembourg, Moscow and Vizag, Apla has delivered projects across the UAE, India, Netherland, Antilles and Russia.
