The iconic AMC King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the first cinema opened in KSA back in 2018 where Black Panther was the first movie to be exhibited in the kingdom. Four years later AMC Cinemas hosted the premiere of the sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in the same venue on Nov 9th.
AMC Cinemas collaborated with Italia Films, the regional film distributor, and other partners in bringing moviegoers and Marvel fans across the Kingdom together to celebrate the release of the new film.
Guests and attendees were immersed in a one-of-a-kind experience specially curated to bring the magic of Wakanda to life through an exciting range of activities. The event provided film lovers and Marvel fans the chance to showcase their passion for the popular franchise.
This event marks the latest steps taken by AMC Cinemas to develop the Kingdom’s cinema sector under the Vision 2030 Quality of Life program. It underlines the cinema operator’s commitment to offering people and communities across the Kingdom more access to a rich and varied selection of entertainment offerings.
Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke and Danai Gurira. The film finds the people of Wakanda in mourning following the death of King T’Challa. Rallied by Queen Ramonda, Shuri, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje, the technologically advanced nation is forced to take on a host of intervening world powers.

is set to be released, only in theatres, across the Kingdom on Thursday November 10th, 2022.
