Alkhorayef Water wins SAR 82.1M contract from SWCC

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) was awarded on Feb. 4 a SAR 82.1 million contract for operating and maintaining the first water treatment plant in Buraydah and the fourth water treatment plant in Riyadh Al Khabra by Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC).

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the contract duration is 24 months, and is expected to be reflected on Q1 2024 financials.

The company will announce any relevant developments in due course, especially after receiving the final version of the contract signed by all parties concerned.

There are no related parties to the deal, the statement noted.
