Al Zorah Hosts Ajman University College of Architecture, Art and Design Students

The Al Zorah Development Company, a joint venture between the Government of Ajman and Solidere International PLC, extended an invitation to students currently enrolled at the College of Architecture, Art and Design of the University of Ajman, to showcase their most recent class architectural projects covering three categories ̶ schools, museums, and mixed-use developments ̶ designed to suit different sites in Al Zorah.

The event, which took place on the morning of Thursday, November 10, 2022, is part of Al Zorah’s continuous efforts to connect with the community and encourage students to pursue excellence in their respective fields.

Commenting on the occasion, George Saad, Chief Executive Officer of Al Zorah Development Company, said, “We at Al Zorah encourage hardworking and dedicated students in the UAE. In particular, we are interested in seeing and motivating the creation of unique projects by architecture and design students, who are the State’s future planners and builders. We constantly seek opportunities to award top students with internships in our organization.”

On that day, Al Zorah, the venue to showcase their projects, provided students with a full tour of the development to hone their skill sets. The company awarded students with certificates of participation and accolades for the best projects presented at the event. The top three students for the three different categories, chosen by the company, received internships at Al Zorah Development Company to further gain practical experience and insight within real estate organizations.

“We do our best to provide dedicated students with incentives to continue working hard and excell in their studies. We hope all students enjoyed the event and learned practical lessons from access to our facilities.” Mr. Saad concluded.
