Al Yamamah Steel inks SAR 309M supply contracts

Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. signed, on Oct. 20, a one-year contract with Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia (L&T) for SAR 170.5 million, according to a statement to Tadawul.

Under the contract, Al Yamamah Steel will provide L&T with steel towers for the construction of a 500 KV ultra-high-voltage line from the Central to the Western region (the third phase).

The relevant financial impact will likely appear in Q3 2025, and the supply is expected to begin in May 2025.

In a separate statement to Tadawul, Al Yamamah Steel said it signed another one-year contract with Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia (L&T) for SAR86138. million to provide L&T with steel towers for the construction of a 380 KV ultra-high-voltage line from Stara station to Wadi ad-Dawasir station in the central region.

The relevant financial impact will likely appear in Q2 2025, and the supply is expected to begin in January 2025.

Both contracts included no related parties, the statements noted.
