In celebration of the UAE’s 46th National Day. Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier tourist, family and leisure destination, is hosting an array of entertainment activities designed to foster patriotism and a love for the country. Taking place on Friday and Saturday (December 1 & 2), the programme has been designed in conjunction with Al Qasba’s commitment to observe with its visitors all national, religious and social events that are held in the UAE throughout the year.
Staged along Al Qasba’s walkways in front of Block A building and taking place from 5pm -10pm each day of the weekend, the schedule features performances and shows that include Al Ayallah traditional dancing, also known as ‘Yowalah,’ an Emirati Hospitality Corner that will be serving popular traditional Emirati food and a Henna Corner that will offer beautifully decorative skin patterns for girls and women.
A special programme for children featuring a spectrum of recreational activities, art and crafts workshops, interactive events, face painting, and lots more has been planned to keep the young visitors happily occupied, while visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display that forms a main part of the celebrations and which takes place December 2 at 10pm.
