Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) Q.S.C, has extended its support to the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), a humanitarian organization with a deep-rooted history in charitable and voluntary work, governed by a vision and mission that tackle major humanitarian and developmental challenges in Qatar and abroad.
Al khaliji’s partnership with QRC falls under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, guided by a main objective of helping the vulnerable and serving the common humanitarian causes.
Mr. Hamad Al Kubaisi, al khaliji Group Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, handed Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) representative Mr. Saad Shaheen Al Kaabi, Director of Resource Mobilization, a donation of more than QR 40,000 at the bank’s headquarters. Fostering a spirit of goodwill among both the communities and customers, the funds were collected through al khaliji’s Ramadan charity campaign, where the bank donated QR 1 for every transaction a customer conducted during the Holy Month using the bank’s debit or credit card.
As part of the larger International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, QRCS’s mission has been consistently expanding to a wide-ranging scope of humanitarian and developmental activities towards its humanitarian mission both locally and internationally.
Al khaliji has an ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Supporting human development within the community is a cornerstone within al khaliji values, because it aims to achieve the Human Development pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Many nonprofit organizations have benefited from al khaliji's CSR activities. The bank has extended its support to a wide range of charitable activities within and outside of the country.
