Al Jomaih & Shell and JIPCO Less Downtime More GO Time

Al Jomaih & Shell Lubricating Oil Company (JOSLOC) partnered with Juffali Industrial Products Company (JIPCO), the exclusive dealer of Mercedes Benz & Fuso Commercial Vehicles, as a platinum sponsor for the 2020 JIPCO Driving Experience Event for Mercedes Benz Trucks, which took place in Nofa Resort (Riyadh) between 8 and 13 March 2020. The driving experience, which is one of the biggest automotive truck events in the Kingdom, offered JIPCO customers & guests first hand driving experience of the new range of Mercedes Benz Trucks (Actros & Arocs), allowing them to discover their capabilities & safety features in various driving conditions under the supervision of experienced Mercedes Benz drivers. 

During the event, which featured full branding by both the host & the sponsors, more than 400 JIPCO customers & guests attended technical presentations by JIPCO sales, service & spare parts teams as well as the sponsors (JOSLOC & Michelin). JOSLOC’s presentation focused on its core product portfolio for fleet customers, particularly on Shell Rimula R6 M 10W-40, a top of the line fully synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil that is currently used in all new Mercedes Benz trucks (with Mercedes Benz Approval MB 228.5). The various tests conducted by Shell’s Global Technical Team in collaboration with Mercedes Benz Trucks serve as a testament to Rimula R6 M’s superior performance in extreme operating conditions, coupled with its contribution to reducing the total cost of ownership for fleet owners & operators. Additionally, a deep-dive into Shell Value Added Technical Services portrayed to the audience how JOSLOC works with its partners to extend its customer service & support well beyond the product; and this is where the real value is generated.
