Al-Jazeera Paints, the giant of high quality paint industry in the Middle East and surrounding regions provided a generous donation to the Saudi Art Association ( SAA) , to hold its 2nd forum and launch its Al-Jazeera Paints Award competition under the title : (the Two Holy Mosques…Soul Attracting Spirituality). It will witness the participation of society members and promising new generations on the local and Gulf States level.
This grand support of the association allows to include a wider segments of creative and promising skilled artists. The competition will assign 10 awards presented by Al-Jazeera Paints and will be distributed as such: first award: (30.000 SAR), second award: (25.000SAR), third award: (20.000 SAR), fourth award: (15.000SAR) and six more awards at a value of (5.000SAR) each.
Mr. Abdullah bin Saud Al-Romaih, the General Manger of Al-Jazeera Paints stressed that the support rendered to the association stems from company corporate social responsibility strategy as a leading national company that strives to develop the local community and assist in its development and progress on all levels including artistic and cultural levels. He expressed his hope that Al-Jazeera Paints, first of its kind in the visual arts arena, award will open a broader horizon before the visual artists, encourage them and aspire their creativity to elevate the artistic taste of all society segments.
Al-Jazeera Paints has rendered support for the 1st society forum which witnessed a great success last year. It was held under the title : (Our Heritage…Creativity that Embraces the Present Time). The forum received participations from all Kingdom’s areas and ten artists won the awards from among them. It had three exhibitions in Al Riyadh, Jeddah and Abha city and was inaugurated by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture and Media Dr. Nasser Al Hujealan and Mr. Abdel Elah Alromaih, Al-Jazeera Paints member of the Board of Directors.
