Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan said Saudi Arabia helped ensure the continued flow of energy supplies and trade amid uncertainty, thanks to its investments in alternative transit and supply routes.
Addressing the third meeting of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, Al-Jadaan emphasized the effective international cooperation is essential to achieving economic stability.
Reliable energy supplies at affordable prices and the continued flow of essential goods should help contain price pressures and ease the burden on national budgets, the minister added.
He noted that the global economy has demonstrated its ability to adapt to recurring disruptions, with resilience serving as the cornerstone of this adaptability.
He also pointed out that multilateral financial institutions play an important role in helping the most vulnerable economies navigate financing pressures.
