Aiming to Improve User-experience – Al Yousuf Motors Launches Dubai Workshop for MG Auto Brand

With the on-set of 2018, the UAE's vibrant automobile sector has witnessed a paradigm shift. The industry is beaming with optimism and positive indicators of another successful year. So far, this industry has witnessed the introduction of smart solutions in the auto sector by leading global brands in the UAE, seconded by sustainability as the nation encourages a cleaner and green economy. After successfully acquiring the distribution rights for MG auto brand in the region, Al Yousuf Motors unwrapped a new workshop, exclusively dedicated to MG vehicles, in Dubai. The opening ceremony was held on 8thJuly 2018 on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. 

MG is a British automotive brand established in 1924, known for its historic models, awards and achievements throughout the past 94 years. MG was founded by William Morris and Cecil Kimbers and has the oldest car club in the automotive industry. Best known for its two-seat open sports cars, MG also produced saloons and coupes. Since its acquisition of MG, SAIC MOTOR, as a Global Top 500 company, has opened a new chapter for this purely British brand. MG will explore new avenues in the future. Al Yousuf Motors acquired exclusive distributorship of MG earlier this year and is dedicated to aid the visibility of the brand in UAE. Spanning a journey of over 50 years, Al Yousuf Motors continually strives to exceed customer expectations through constant innovations and improvements. 

Mr. Mohamed Iqbal Alyousuf, Deputy President, Al Yousuf Motorssaid, “Al Yousuf Motors is delighted to introduce this MG-dedicated workshop to the UAE market. Our focus is on implementing new processes to increase customer satisfaction at all touch points through the different purchase and ownership phases.” The addition of automotive workshop will enhance the user-experience in the long run thus boosting sales in the region as well.

Global brands like MG are betting on the rise in demand in the UAE with Expo 2020 right around the corner, complemented by luxury brands cashing on consumer trends in the country. The automotive industry is gearing up by providing the latest in innovation and app-based solutions to offer the masses the latest.
