Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski Riyadh has announced the appointment of Adnan Mansour Al Essa to Food and Beverage Manager. He assumes the new position at the hotel after an outstanding career in several essential positions in the management and hospitality sector.
Adnan, a Saudi national, received his secondary education in the United States of America. He has a diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches, Marbella, Spain, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Swiss Hotel Association. In the past fifteen years he has held several positions in the hospitality sector, where he started his training as a waiter and head waiter in the Service Operations section at Sheraton Hotel in Morocco, and then as trainer in kitchen operations in the central kitchen of the Spanish restaurant at Villa Cortes, Canary Islands and Tenerife in Spain. He completed his training as a restaurant manager at Kenzi Hotel in Marrakesh.
In 2008, he served as Tourism Products Project Manager at the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. In 2009, he became an Assistant Manager of the Food and Beverages Department at Oberoi hotel in Medina, and later in 2010, he started a family company specialising in the food and beverage sector, and is continuing to accomplish many achievements.
Upon his appointment, Adnan stated that “he is proud of being part of this important tourist destination in Riyadh city and his intention is to work together with all team members to serve the hotel's guests, customers and visitors, and the Saudi tourism industry in general”.
Adnan added that “he will share his experience and expertise with the Food and Beverage department at Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski and will maintain and improve the quality of its services, together with other hotel sections”.
It is noteworthy that Adnan Al Essa was awarded a number of training certificates in areas such as customer service, time management and leadership in the field of hospitality, and participated in food product shows, such as Al-Jandriyah Festival and the Nassayem February Event. In addition, he contributed to organising Jawna Marrakesh, opening the Al-Qassim Festival, and other events abroad.
