ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards Found Its Owners!

ACE of M.I.C.E. Congress, Meeting and Event Awards which was organized within the ACE of M.I.C.E. Exhibition (March 16-18) was held at Zorlu Performing Arts Center on the night of March 17th with a glorious ceremony.

Congress, meeting and event (MICE) sector’s most prestigious awards, ACE of M.I.C.E. Congress, Meeting and Event Awards, was given in 4 main (Events, Meeting Support Companies and Project Applications, Meeting Hotels and Event Venues, Meeting Management Companies) topics and in 31 categories. In total, 74 jury members reviewed the presentations of finalists at January 15th at Swissotel the Bosphorus Istanbul and they decided the winners. The award night which was held at Zorlu Performing Arts Center, which is the venue sponsor of the awards received a lot of names from business and art sector. The guests created a lot of colorful pictures and in the beginning of the night. Before the award ceremony, there were a lot of food and beverages of different tastes and almost 2500 guests were at the night.

After the welcome, the guests waited for the ceremony to start with a cocktail and then they entered the most enhanced hall of Zorlu Performing Arts Center. Award ceremony began with Zorlu Performing Arts Center General Manager Murat Abbas and Tourism Media Group General Manager Volkan Ataman’s speech. 

Award ceremony venue sponsor Zorlu Performing Arts Center’s General Manager Murat Abbas said: “Last year, we were awarded as the best event venue at ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards and we are now very happy to host the biggest award ceremony of world MICE industry. ACE of M.I.C.E. contributes to the development of our sector and it promotes Turkey MICE sector to the world with its exhibition and award ceremony and we’re trying to support it every way we can.” 

Tourism Media Group General Manager Volkan Ataman said: “We passed a very detailed and intense process for 4th ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards. The appropriate candidates which fits ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards’ application criteria were determined by an independent jury. Once again, I would like to thank you for joining us at this wonderful night which aims to increase the dynamism of the sector and strengthen the unity and solidarity with a little competition. I would like to thank our sponsors, Tourism Media Group and all of the MICE professionals who attended this night. I congratulate all of our finalists which will have the honor of receiving ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards.”

After the speeches the awards were given in 31 categories and the candidates were at the stage. Sector’s most prestigious awards were given by 74 people jury after the selection of 84 candidates in 4 categories. 

After the award ceremony photos of all winners were taken and a special cake which was prepared only for ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards were cut both with guests and winners. After the ceremony guests had fun at the party and left it very happy.
