60 opinion polls conducted across Saudi Arabia in 2018

More than 77,000 people took part in almost 60 polls carried out last year by the National Center for Public Opinion Polls at the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue.
Polls were conducted on public affairs issues, and marked a 2.5 percent increase on the number carried out in 2017, the center said.
More than 183,000 people were invited to take part in the polls with 77,000 agreeing — a 43 percent response rate that is high by international standards, according to the center.
Women’s participation rate in the polls was 24 percent, reflecting the fact that most topics were of interest mainly to men.
The National Center for Public Opinion Polls aims to promote a culture of dialogue in the Kingdom, allowing people to express their views on a range of issues.
Polling is conducted according to global practices to provide reliable feedback and statistics that can help decision-making in government.
The center offers its services to all government agencies and civil institutions. Surveys are carried out on issues related to public affairs, to measure client satisfaction, or to raise awareness among participants.
Experienced personnel operate a call center fitted out with the latest communication technologies, while research teams monitor data quality and verify polling results.
