The 11th edition of the Luxury Motor Show (EXCS11), which was held at Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, achieved unprecedented success in the light of the Royal Decree allowing women to drive. The Show main hall was overwhelmed with ladies who visited the Show to learn about the latest models that they likely would buy soon.
The 11th edition of the Luxury Motor Show (EXCS11) was inaugurated by his Excellency Engineer Salman bin Muhsin Al Dhalaan, General Manager of Ministry of Transport branch in Riyadh, and under the sponsorship of Alahli Lease Finance Program and Mobil 1 oil.
The Luxury Motor Show forms an important outcome for the automotive sector, on both local and regional levels, in view of its excellence, uniqueness and ability to gather the leading luxury car manufacturers under its roof every year. This year's show was attended by senior executives of luxury car makers to participate in this remarkable event and take part in the launch of new models that were revealed on the first day of the show.
On this occasion, Abdullah Alshemasi, CEO of the Specialized Systems for Exhibitions and Conferences and founder of the Show, said:" "We were very ambitious to bring this show globally to compete with big motor shows in the Middle East, which we managed to get along successfully.”
He added: "Since the first day, we took a strategic decision to make this Show so special and distinctive; and we got along, thanks to Allah Almighty, and to the reconciled and sincere efforts of our team. He added:" The new models that have been uncovered at the Show this year; underscore the importance of EXCS as one of the most significant economic events that will take place in Saudi Arabia in the remaining period of the year, especially in the luxury car segment.
Commenting on the Royal Decree for allowing women to drive, Alshemasi said: " We thank HM the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for this historic decision, which will enhance the role of women in the society, and also will enhance the national economy where this decision is expected to form a quality turn in the auto sector, and car sales anticipated to rise by 15% - 20%."
As usual, the show was full of surprises associated to the luxury automotive sector, most importantly the unveiling of some new models. The show visitors had a great opportunity to visit the stands of some of the world’s famous brands and inspect new models, for instance:

ü Mercedes-Benz "S-Class" rated the "Best Luxury Sedan"
ü Alfa Romeo "Stelvio" rated the "Best Luxury SUV"
