TOP 20 FINISH FOR UAE TEAM EMIRATES’ AT TOUR DE ROMANDIE

UAE Team Emirates’, duo  Louis Meinjtes and Diego Ulissi finished in the top 20 at Tour de Romandie – on Sunday 30 April 2017 with overall victory claimed by Richie Porte (BMC Racing).

The Tour De Romandie concluded with a 18.3 - kilometer individual Time Trial around Lausanne with Ulssi placing 13th in the overall General Classification at one minute and 40 seconds after Porte, Meinjtes placing 20th and Anass Ait el Abdia placing 40th, earning his home country -Morocco- for the first time in history UCI World Tour points.

The team will next be racing at the first Grand Tour of the season, the 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia from Friday, 5 May – Sunday, 28 April.
