Ashridge strengthens its Saudi team to meet increasing demand for leadership coaching

The leading global executive education provider, Ashridge has announced the appointment of Mark Costello as its Corporate Client Director for Saudi Arabia. With over 20 years of experience in training business leaders, Costello’s most recent assignment was with EF Education First in Saudi Arabia where he was responsible for designing e-learning programs for companies, government and universities.

In his new role, Costello will help Saudi organizations to choose the most effective executive education programs for their business leaders.

Costello says, “I am excited to be part of Ashridge Executive Education’s growing team in the region. Saudi Arabia, just like the rest of the region, is going through many economic reforms to thrive in a changing world order. In this scenario, it becomes even more critical for business leaders to sharpen their leadership and team building skills to ensure growth and success for their companies. Ashridge has over 20 years of experience working with regional business leaders and I look forward to sharing our success stories and building a stronger client base in Saudi.”

Prior to moving to Saudi, Costello was the Director of EF Executive Language Institute in Boston, helping organizations from around the world achieve their strategic language goals. In Indonesia, Mark worked for 10 years with many multi-national companies to improve employee competencies.

Commenting on the appointment of Costello, Rory Hendrikz, Director of Ashridge Middle East, says, “Mark is truly committed to enhancing people’s lives through education and training, which is apparent in his extensive experience in the education sector. His considerable knowledge of the Saudi market and pragmatic solution oriented approach, will be beneficial as we reinforce our commitment to the Saudi market.”
