Under the aegis of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in collaboration with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), is set to organize the 4th Saudi International Nanotechnology Conference (SINC 2016) in Dhahran from Oct. 25 to 27. The conference aims to offer an update on recent innovations in both basic and applied aspects and trends in nanotechnology. A leading interdisciplinary science of the future, nanotechnology touches all aspects of life from chemistry, physics and biology to the more complex fields of medicine, engineering, communications, transportation and energy. The three-day conference will discuss manufacturing nanomaterials, electronics, nanophotonics; solar cells; energy applications and medical as well as environment-related applications. A number of specially invited speakers will attend the event, which will also include a workshop. This conference will provide an international multidisciplinary gathering of experts to exchange ideas on nanotechnology and its applications in different areas.
