Canon Middle East, the leader in imaging products and solutions, showcased its complete workflow of input to output, covering everything right from the process of taking photographs to printing them on different materials at XPOSURE, Sharjah's International Photography Festival from the 12th until the 15th of October.
A key highlight at the Canon stand was the ‘Projection Experience Zone’ where one of the engagements to attract visitors, was by using convergence of two projectors in order to harmonize single animation content. To add the illusion of the content a transparent ‘Mesh screen’ was used aptly for rear projection. Customers visiting this zone, were treated to a ‘Green Room’ photo shoot against iconic landmarks of Sharjah as a backdrop giving a feel of reality in a virtual world. The visitors also had an opportunity to ‘spin the wheel’ and win exciting goodies. This experience using Canon interactive projectors was a big hit with the visitors because of the gesture based interactions, standing almost a meter away.
The event follows the signing earlier this year of an agreement with Sharjah Media Centre to host XPOSURE, Sharjah's International Photography Festival.
