1-month pay bonus for Yemen war heroes

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman announced a one-month salary bonus to all Saudi soldiers involved in Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope.
The king made the announcement on his return to Jeddah from Morocco on Sunday.
According to the order, released on SPA, employees of the Interior Ministry, Defense Ministry and the Ministry of National Guard involved in the operations on the frontlines have also been rewarded with a one-month salary bonus.
Hamdan Al-Shihri, a researcher in international affairs, said the announcement reflected the king’s love and appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices of the men in uniform on the frontlines.
He said the king was continuously overseeing the affairs of the state and the Arab and Islamic nations even while he was vacationing in Morocco.
“Although he was on a private visit to Morocco, he continued to receive Arab and Muslim leaders and discussed with them regional and international affairs,” he said.
“This reflects King Salman’s keenness to stay updated and on top of all developments in the region and beyond.”
He said Saudi Arabia has and will continue to play a leading role in the region and world to ensure regional security and stability.
