Toshiba Corporation’s (TOKYO:6502) Semiconductor & Storage Products Company today announced the launch of a new dedicated partner site for overseas distribution partners.
One of Toshiba’s strategies for increasing sales of semiconductor and storage products is to enhance cooperation with distribution partners: in fiscal year 2015, sales by distribution accounted for 24% of overall overseas sales, and Toshiba targets to boost that to over 45% in 2018. The launch of the partner site is one of a series of measures Toshiba is taking to boost its market effectiveness and improve contact with distribution partners.
This new site offers distribution partners a wide range of essential content for promoting business on a single site, including access to product specifications and interactive functions for efficient and effective execution of promotion activities, such as requests for samples, price quotes and progress management. The new site also supports mobile access from outside the office, which will improve responsiveness significantly.
Going forward, Toshiba will continue to extend site access to overseas distribution partners. With speed, mobility and flexibility as the partner site’s core competences, Toshiba aims to promote and advance proactive sales activities that increase quality of service to end customers.
Information in this document, including product prices and specifications, content of services and contact information, is current on the date of the announcement but is subject to change without prior notice.
