The service suspension regulations start from 01 Ramadan 1445 AH, ensuring no harm to those with suspended services or their dependents. It strictly requires a regulatory document for implementation.
Service suspensions exclude treatment, education, employment, commercial registration, and documentation services. It allows for extension requests before suspension and identifies the suspending entity to protect rights and improve compliance, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The agency noted that processing of current suspension requests is underway, with (157,243) suspensions lifted to date.
The regulation stages service suspension in 3 phases, each with a set duration: the first two phases last 15 days, extendable by another 15, while the third phase's duration is determined by the regulatory document. A government entity can lift the suspension within 24 hours once the cause ends.
The implementation of this regulation follows strict guidelines and models for government platforms, accessible through the Absher "Individuals and Businesses" platform and the "Muqeem" portal.
