Saudi Commerce Ministry, prisons directorate sign MoU

The Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and the General Directorate of Prisons, have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop cooperation and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment services system related to prisoners.
The two parties stressed the need to develop investment opportunities and implement activities in prisons, in accordance with terms and conditions that meet security standards.
They also formed a joint working group to raise infrastructure needs and provide locations for implementation, and will provide rehabilitation and training programs for staff.
