Saudi Arabia promising powerhouse in achieving global sustainable economy: Minister

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, affirmed that the Kingdom is a promising global powerhouse that plays an important and influential role in achieving stability, development, and sustainable global economic growth.  

The Kingdom contributed effectively to formulating a global economic system to help achieve the G20 goal of encouraging sustainable growth within the framework of preserving the interests of all countries, Al-Ibrahim told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). 

The minister highlighted the Kingdom's membership in the G20 as evidence of its economic importance and pivotal role in shaping global economic policies, emphasizing the Kingdom's developmental and economic achievements in this regard. 

“International cooperation among G20 countries is not limited to coordinating efforts in the economic and developmental fields alone, but it also aims to find innovative solutions to address environmental, health, and social development issues, empower individuals and communities, and open new horizons for innovation and digitalization,” he added.

Al-Ibrahim further emphasized that “these goals were echoed through the Saudi Vision 2030, making the Kingdom a promising and influential developmental model on the global stage.”
