Saudi Arabia's Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, affirmed that the Kingdom seeks to enhance the competitiveness of GCC economy.
"We are determined to achieve more coordination, integration and interdependence between our countries," the minister noted.
The joint Gulf market ensures the free movement of individuals, services, and investments between the GCC countries, which benefits consumers, boosts competitiveness, enhances local investments, attracts foreign investments, and creates more job opportunities, Al-Ibrahim said.
The statement came during the fifth meeting of the Permanent Ministerial Preparatory Committee of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority.
