Samsung Launches New Washing Machine with Groundbreaking QuickDrive™ Technology in the UAE

Samsung Gulf Electronics,today launched new washing machine with revolutionary QuickDrive™ technology in the UAE. Samsung’s exclusive QuickDrive™ technology which dramatically reduces the time it takes to do a load of laundry.

Improved Washing Performance

Samsung’s QuickDrive™ technology reduces washing time by 50 percent* and energy use by upto 20 percent* without compromising on power and cleaning performance. Unlike conventional washing machines, the unique Q-Drum™ is composed of a large main drum with a plate in the back that rotates independently, so clothes move from top to bottom in the drum, as well as back and forth. This creates a revolutionary dynamic action powered by double forces that remove dirt quickly, gently and thoroughly with an intense and complete wash cycle.

Samsung's unparalleled QuickDrive™ technology was independently tested by Intertek, who confirmed that QuickDrive™ technology provides the same level of cleaning performance and fabric care as existing products, while reducing washing times.

In addition to Samsung’s revolutionary QuickDrive™ technology, this washing machine also has a variety of other outstanding laundry technologies, including EcoBubble™, which provides powerful washing performance yet gentle on fabrics by mixing air and water to generate fine detergent bubbles that penetrate fabrics faster and maximize the detergent’s effects even at low temperatures.

Smarter, IoT-Enabled Washing Machine 

The IoT-ready Quick Drive washing machine boasts an intelligent AI-powered laundry assistant called Q-rator, which provides three key smart features that help users manage laundry more conveniently.

Laundry Planner enables consumers to choose a laundry finishing time with the freedom to do laundry when it’s most convenient; Laundry Recipe recommends optimal wash cycles based on load information such as color, fabric type, and degree of soiling; and HomeCare Wizard monitors the washer remotely to proactively alert users about potential problems and provide quick troubleshooting support.

It also comes with Samsung’s innovative AddWash™, a feature that allows users to add items, detergent, or fabric softener at any time during the cycle[1]. With the Q-rator and AddWash™, users can enjoy more convenience and simplicity than ever before throughout the laundry process.
