ROSHN Real Estate Co. is aiming to increase the company's reliance on Saudi's local market for construction to 60%, CEO David Grover said in a statement to Al Arabiya.
He added that developers are securing materials like cement, aluminum, and iron domestically and internationally, due to global supply chain fragility.
Grover mentioned collaborating with ministries, particularly the ministry of investment, to grow local companies, increasing Saudi's supply chain independence, and exploiting the country's vast opportunities.
He noted that supply chain issues limit achieving current local market construction targets, but sending out need estimates aids local manufacturers, meeting company needs in 3-4 years.
Grover also said the company's community development goes beyond homes, including living spaces to improve life quality. This involves controlling and developing various assets with foreign and local investors.
Finally, He highlighted the company's nationwide activities with plans in Riyadh, a residential project in Jeddah, upcoming work in Makkah, a plan in Al hufuf, and a Dammam project this year.
