The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) investigated several legal and administrative cases through 2,024 inspection tours in November.
The authority investigated 341 alleged suspects, while 146 others were arrested, some of whom were released on bail, on crimes such as bribery, abuse of authority, money laundering and forgery, the authority said on messaging app X (formerly Twitter).
Those arrested were employed in the Ministries of Interior, Defense, Justice, Health, Education, Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, as well as Environment, Water and Agriculture.
