MoL plans jobs for 8 million citizens

The Ministry of Labor plans to create jobs for 8 million citizens over the next 20 years, with a special focus on women and young people under the age of 22, according to reports in the local media.
The plan is based on the strategic program approved by a royal decree four years ago. It would take into account the increasing numbers of university graduates and holders of diploma degrees in health specialties.

There would be a specific focus on employing women and young people. Units would be set up at labor offices across the country to provide guidance for women job seekers, which would include remote, part-time and full-time work.
Units would also be set up for young people under the age of 22, to provide guidance and facilitate training. Companies would be urged to follow the training programs that Saudi Aramco has in place.

According to its website, the Aramco program includes support for college degrees, advanced degree assignments, specialist development and management, professional and technical training.
There are also international company assignments, programs and forums offered to middle management and senior professionals and various management and executive development programs.
