On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Doha Bank, one of Qatar’s largest private commercial banks , organized a week-long lineup of activities to celebrate the traditional festival of Garangao. The Garangao festival marks the breaking of the fast on the 14th night of Ramadan, and sees kids get dressed up in colourful and traditional Qatari clothes, while carrying a bag around town to collect candies from houses in the neighbourhood.
In celebration of the festival this year, Doha Bank distributed 3,000 branded bags containing sweets, nuts and other goodies to kids and local organizations.
